Trump Rules Out 2028 Presidential Run if He Loses in November

Donald Trump has declared he will not run for president again in 2028 should he lose the upcoming 2024 election.

In an interview on “Full Measure,” the 78-year-old former president said, “No, I don’t. I think that will be it. I don’t see that at all.” Trump, however, expressed optimism about his chances in the November 5 poll.

Trump is currently in a tight race with Democratic candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris, after President Joe Biden withdrew from the race following a poorly received debate. The upcoming election remains a fierce battle, with key swing states in play.

Trump, who still contests his 2020 loss to Biden, has fueled doubts about whether he will accept the results if defeated, echoing his claims of a “stolen” election. This rhetoric led to the January 6, 2021, Capitol insurrection as his supporters attempted to block the certification of Biden’s victory.
