Reps Panel Exposes Real Cause Of UTME 2025 Crisis
The House of Representatives committee on basic education and examination bodies has attributed the issue with the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results to human error.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Oboku Oforji, chairman of the committee, said preliminary findings indicate that the error which affected over 300,000 candidates was due to human error not technical failure.
