I have Haters – Davido Opens Up

Award-winning singer Davido said that he feels underappreciated despite his significant impact on the Nigerian music industry.
With a career spanning 15 years, Davido believes he doesn’t receive the recognition he deserves, stating that people often fail to give him the credit he has earned.
In a recent interview with Egungun, he mentioned that despite his consistent contributions to the music industry, he feels his efforts are often overlooked.
He said: “I have been conquering the music industry for 15 years, but the crazy thing is that people don’t give me my flowers [credits] that I deserve.”
However, his numerous awards, including the Artist of the Year and Digital Artist of the Year at The Headies Awards, showcase his influence and success in the industry.
Davido also acknowledged that while he has haters, their presence doesn’t affect him as he receives love and admiration from fans everywhere he goes.
Egungun inferred: “Do you believe that you have haters?”
Davido replied, “There are haters, but when I go everywhere, they love me, so I’m like, where are the haters?”
