Elon Musk Exposes Alleged $4.3 Billion ‘Medical Fraud’ In US

Elon Musk says the Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE, is fixing alleged medical fraud in the United States.
The Tech billionaire stated this in a post on his official X handle while reacting to reports of about $4.3 billion alleged fraud by health insurers.
Musk had shared a report which alleged that some health insurers in the country got double-paid by the Medicaid system for the coverage of hundreds of thousands of patients across the United States.
According to the report, the alleged double-payment cost US taxpayers billions of dollars.
The report also stated that a Wall Street Journal analysis of Medicaid data found that the health insurers collected at least $4.3 billion over three years for patients who were enrolled and paid for in other states.
The insurers were paid by state and federal governments to cover low-income Medicaid recipients.
Reacting, Elon Musk on his verified handle said, “these are examples of medical fraud that the @DOGE team will fix”.
