Osimhen’s Turkish Turn: Napoli Cuts €130m Release Clause in Galatasaray Loan Deal
Napoli has sealed a one-year loan deal with Galatasaray for Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen, who is already en route to Turkey for his fan presentation.
Fabrizio Romano revealed on his X handle that Napoli has dramatically cut Osimhen’s release clause from €130m to €75m, with an option to extend his contract until 2027.
The loan, valid until June 2025, includes a salary of €9/10m. This move concludes a turbulent transfer saga involving Chelsea and Saudi’s Al Ahli, leaving Osimhen sidelined and out of Napoli’s squad for the season.
